Seattle and Mt. Rainier

by dianneswain - last update: Jun 4, 2008

Mt. Rainier

Mt. Rainier

Mt. Rainier watches over Seattle. Beautiful mountain. Hailing from a region that has no mountains to speak of and hardly ever see snow, seeing Mt. Rainier was a dream come true, literally . good place for nature lovers. Pristine surroundings with many trails for hiking.

Pike's Market and downtown Seattle

I wasn't impressed with Pike's Market . Full of Tourists(me included) and over-priced products. Waterfront is good for people watching, especially near Pike's Market. At Ivers I ate fried salmon for the first time. If you are a fan of salmon, one can find salmon prepared many ways in Seattle.

Tillicum Village

A short ferry ride from downtown Seattle is Tillicum Village, where one can partake in a salmon buffet dinner and show performed by regional native Americans.
