After doing a trek in Ladakh (see my India page) and some sightseeing in Delhi (see my Delhi page), I finally arrived in Nepal for the second part of my trip in the Himalaya's.
We had only 2 weeks left and planned to do the Jomsom-Pokhara trek (about 8 days) through the Kali Gandaki valley, also because we wanted to visit friends in Chitre.
Arriving in Jomsom by plane we went up to Muktinath. The next day we went back, passing through in Kagbeni to Jomsom. Then to Marpha, Kalopani, Ghasa, Tatopani and Chitri where we stayed 1 day. Then from Chitre, Deurali, Tadapani, Ghandruk to Naya Pul taking a taxi back to Pokhara.
The last days of my holiday I spent in Kathmandu doing sightseeing.
I hope you enjoy reading some impressions about my trip. Caroline |
