Restaurant Name: Masa
Masa is a good-looking rather hip restaurant located at downtown Minneapolis. They have a small but very nice bar with a decent collection of tequila. The food is actually rather 'Californian'. Beautifully presented and definitely not authentic; but good nevertheless. I had the grilled chicken with cilantro rice and one too many tequila :) Price is on the expensive side; a dish will cost around $20-$30 It's a great place to watch people though - the crowd dresses to impress and very chic.

Restaurant Name: Newsroom
This downtown restaurant has a lot of potential: good variety of items on their menu; nice bar area; good quality food and a rather interesting theme decor. Too bad it's all ruined by the very slow unacceptable service. It honestly took 30+ minutes to get my order of country style omelette - seriously, is it that hard to make that simple egg dish? I need to add that I was there during the labor weekend; so maybe they were short-staffed. Still though, if you're open then you should be ready to provide good service, right?
