Nightlife Spot: SkyBar

This is the place to see and to be seen. One of the hottest spot is town for celebs (right on Sunset Strip). At the same time.. the ambiance is an intimate, low-key outdoor venue. Under the stars and near the pool, not to metion a breathtaking view of LA.

longues ...(which look like large mattresses.. are arranged near the pool below... (very cool idea) where guests can recline under trees decorated with lighted candles. Very sexy.

The problem, howeve, could be getting in. Most walk-ins have little luck getting past the doorman. One sure route is to stay at the Mondrian hotel as a guest - a hotel room key immediately gains you entrance to the Sky Bar. Otherwise, you might want to try to calling for reservations for dinner (served until 9 p.m.) to get on the guest list. The peak social scene is around 1 a.m. And the Sky Bar isn't cheap - drinks are a flat $18 each (age 21 & over only).

Nightlife Spot: "Club 1912"

The "Club 1912" is new spot inside the famous Beverly Hills Hotel, the "Pink Palace" You can start with having some appetizers first at the little Fountain Coffe Shop in the lobby which offers sitting only on tall, wrought-iron stools surrounded by the hotels trademark babana leafs wall paper. Then, move to the "Club 1912" (The hotel was build in that year, so, I believe here is the name).
