Sunset in Coron Palawan, the Philippines

Hi! I'm Faith, a big fan of the world, its boundless beauty and its diverse wonderful people. =)

As one might have guessed, I am also quite passionate about traveling. I love meeting other people, experiencing other cultures, communing with nature and just losing or finding myself in different places.

I'm also into Photography and I very much enjoy documenting my travels despite my rather modest equipment - Nikon FM10 and Nikon D40. A camera can often be seen slung over my shoulder whenever and wherever I travel... :D

I am from The Philippines, also tagged as the Pearl of the Orient Seas.

My beautiful homeland is made up of 7,107 islands. Though I can't say that I have been to all of the 7107 islands or even a quarter of that number, I do consider myself fortunate to have traveled to majority of the best destinations in the country.

Update (October 2009):

Just came back from a trip to Cambodia and Vietnam. Now I can cross out Siem Reap, Cambodia from my "Places to Visit" list!! I've already posted tips from these travels (Phnom Penh & Ho Chi Minh City) for fellow travelers' reference. I'm also working on tips about Siem Reap. =)

Pahimis Coffee Festival -- Amadeo, Cavite...okay, I found that Pahimis means "thanksgiving", but could not, or rather have not as yet, discovered thanksgiving for what...sounds like my kind of festival though with the coffee ^O^
