Bangkok - city for everyone

by ema_p - last update: Jul 6, 2007

Totally different experience

You can see everything from the most luxury hotels, restaurants and bars, expensive shops, golden temples, high buildings on one side and houses made of carton, poor people on the street trying to sell different things and rats jumping on the bazaars on the other.

Buddha temples - Wat

The temples are called Wat in Thailand and they have a beautiful architecture with gold things and many colors. The most visited is the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. Beautiful sights just look through the pictures.
Other famous is the Wat of the Reclining Buddha 46 meters long covered with gold.
And at the end don't miss the Temple of the Golden Buddha.

Floathing Market

This is one of the most popular place for tourist in Bangkok. It is on the Chao Praya river. It reminds of Venice with the canals. It is full with small boats pilled with fruits, vegetables and many many different things that ready to stop and sell you something. It is exciting and funny. Don't miss it!!!!
