Panorama Hotel is a favorite in Paralia because of the friendly service, comfortable rooms, and great bar. All the staff speak excellent English.

The rooms are very comfortable with either single or king-sized beds. The sea-side rooms are more spacious. Several of the sea-side rooms come with a small kitchen and all rooms have a small mini-bar that you can also use for personal items. Cleaning service comes daily and is provided by two very friendly ladies who do a good job.

The breakfast is a good-sized buffet of fried eggs, ham, fresh veggies & fruit, cereal, yougart, breads, cakes, and other items. The bar also serves up a mean fresh squeezed orange juice...I can't say that I've ever had any better! Breakfast is from 7-10am although if you arrive a few minutes late they'll wait for you to fill up before clearing things away.

Unique Qualities: The bar is fully stocked with all the alcohol you could want. There is an extensive menu of cocktail drinks in addition to a good selection of wines and several different kinds of local and international beer. A nice thing about the bar is that the staff are generous with their portions, there is no exact measuring of shots! The hotel often offers a complimentary drink of your choice on the house upon arrival.

Often during the summer, the hotel hosts a free BBQ on Saturday nights. Everyone is invited, not just hotel guests and they cook up a feast of chicken, pork, and sausages along with traditional tzaziki and other side dishes.

Panorama is one of those hotels that you can leave your valuables in the room unlocked and you don't have to worry whether or not they'd be there when you came back. It's a family and friend run business and they really do know their business.

The manager Thomas really goes out of his way to make sure that your stay is comfortable as can be. When I was looking for a place to dive, he didn't know of any at the time but several months later when he saw a sign advertising, he remembered my request and gave me the information.

Hotel Central is one of the newest hotels in Paralia Katerinis. It rates a 4-star rating in Greece which is one of the higher in Paralia.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable with modern furniture. Rooms on the front of the hotel face the church and sea while the back rooms face a quiet side-street.

The bathrooms are spacious and some of the nicest in Paralia.

The staff are friendly and helpful. Most speak very good English. There is a nice seating area outside the front of the hotel with limited bar service (mostly beer and other bottled drinks).

The breakfast is not that imaginative but it is still decent. Served buffet style from around 7-10am.

Unique Qualities: As one of the newer hotels, the rooms are in very nice condition and the hotel is well laid out. There is a small elevator to help bring luggage to the higher floors although you do have to go up a few stairs to reach it.

One kind of disturbing thing about the hotel is the fact that the front faces the church. It's a pretty sight during the day/night but on Sunday morning, the bells will wake the dead at 7:30-8:00am and the following service is often broadcast over loudspeaker. It makes sleeping in on Sunday morning near impossible.

Hotel Dion is a clean and comfortable hotel on the beach of Paralia. The rooms are decently sized with small but comfortable bathrooms.

The lobby area is mainly a bar with a small office dedicated to the hotel. It can be difficult to reach an English speaker on the telephone during the day, you'll have better luck at night. One of the female staff members whose English is not that good comes off a bit unfriendly but the rest of the staff are very nice.

Unique Qualities: One of the oldest hotels in Paralia, Dion has kept up with the times and still offers affordable and comfortable rooms.

Like all the beachside hotels in Paralia, Hotel Dion has a beach bar, sunbeds, and umbrellas just a step outside. The bar throbs to club and American pop music during the day creating a true beach atmosphere.
