Berchtesgaden is a perfect little Bavarian town in the low alps of Germany. We drove in from Salzberg down a wide cobbled road which we were told was commissioned by Adolf Hitler. The town has more or less been turned over to tourism and coaches seem to be everywhere, packed with travellers from all over the World. |
