Paris takes time | Whizzing past the Louvre (no, please stop!) |
The city most definitely did not spring up overnight, so when we only afforded several hours to trying to "see" Paris, we made our biggest mistake. We were on a cruise and did a bus tour that whizzed us through with barely time to breathe! I would love to go back to allow for more time to absorb and actually relax in the city of lights. |

|  | Highlight of our day The sleeper hit of the day was the opportunity to see Notre Dame Cathedral. It wasn't as packed as I expected, and the exterior was just as amazing as the interior. Breath-taking, awe-inspiring, and all the other ways to describe amazing definitely apply to this lovely place. |
