I have the greatest aunt in the world!! When I graduated high school my aunt promised she would take me anywhere around the world. I chose Italy! Why?

Well, my main motivation was because I sang professionally throughout high school and was majoring in classical singing/opera in college. I also love Roman history. Lastly, my favorite food is pizza!!

We decided to go with a guided tour of Rome, Venice, Florence and Lake Garda. We used Trafalgar Tours and enjoyed it alot.

My fondest memory is drinking my first wine :) Not many people can say they had their first experience with wine in Roma! I was with the tour group and we enjoyed a delicious five course dinner with unlimited wine. A man was singing well-known Italian music and it was just a great night.

It was hard walking back to the bus. Thank goodness I had someone to lean on. It probably wasn't a good idea to kiss the tour guide (who was drinking too) since we avoided each other after that but what a way to become a trip!

I was disappointed because we did not have a concert lined up. Trafalgar Tours had a basic outline but then provided extra excursions for an additional fee. On the last night we decided to take one to another five course meal with opera singers!! It was amazing! They were funny, talented, and while leaving one of the guys even said "ciao bella" (goodbye beautiful) :D
