I first visited Negril in Feb. 2005 and instantly fell in love with this magical, tropical paradise. Today I am a full blown Negril Addict. I have been back twice in the last year and am in the process of planning another visit.
IMO Negril has something for everyone... from expensive all inclusive hotels to quaint boutique hotels. The food is reasonable and delicious. This is a great destination for vegans and healthy eaters because everything is freshly made from all natural products. Strict Rasta's only eat ITAL (vegan) so there a several ITAL eateries. I enjoy Jamaican food soo much, most of what I bring home is food and spices.
One of the many reasons I cannot stop going back is the relaxed vibe of Negril. It is the best rx for stress and escape from everyday life. Even after returning from a vacation there, the relaxed vibe lingers.
When this feeling starts to fade, it's time to plan another reach!
