The Ducale Palace | Side view of the Palace in Mantova |
This Palace was certainly worth touring. It is loaded with artwork, and alot of history explained! We actually toured it towards the end of the day. No one was there, and we could really enjoy the surroundings. You may want to take some sort of tour book with you, however, to aid in explaining the various exhibits. There is a very nice bathroom just in back of the bookstore. |
| | Teatro Bibiena This is a theater in town where Mozart performed once. There is a small admittance fee. Children under 17 are free, so make certain to note that. The attendant only takes small change, so be prepared upon entering. You can stay at your leisure once inside. |
| | Saint Lorenzo This is a very old church, dating back to the 13th century. It is very sparse on the inside. There is a free-will offering collected upon entering the small interior. |
