Petronas Twin Towers: The park behind Petronas Towers
  • Tip Rating:
  • After passing the shopping center which is between the Twin Towers, you see a beautiful park, especially pretty in the evening.
A multiple choice of restaurants are there from where you can watch the jets d'eau.

    Petronas Twin Towers: View down
  • Tip Rating:
  • View down from the 41st floor to the park. Queue up early in the morning. We were there at about 8 am and only 5 people were already there. They start giving tickets (it's free) at 8.30 am so we could go up to the bridge at 9.45 am. While waiting for the elevator watch the movie explaining how they built the towers.
You are allowed to stay at the bridge for only 10 minutes. On a clear day you get a wonderful view.

    Menara Telecommunications Tower: Telecommunication Tower
  • Tip Rating:
  • Well you might go up the stairs for about 10 minutes (if you hurry up) or pay some Ringits (13 for seniors) to reach the deck easily by an elevator.
Instead of taking the direct way to the tower we walked through the forest up- and downstairs for about 20 minutes. And this at about 34° C!
So no question for us: we took the elevator!

Churches, Temples & Mosques: Masjid Jamek Mosque
  • Tip Rating:
  • A very nice Mosque designed in the typical North Indian Muslim architecture. This was the central mosque until the opening of the National Mosque in 1965.

    Chinatown: China Town
  • Tip Rating:
  • I strolled through China Town for more than 1 hour. I like all the stalls selling so many things. Even if you buy nothing it's worth to walk around.
Very much I liked all the fresh fruits they sell there at a very low price.

    Central Market: Central Market
  • Tip Rating:
  • Many stalls are in a very long hall selling almost everything. We also saw this old Rickshaw there but this was not for sale!

    National Mosque: Masjid Negara
  • Tip Rating:
  • The very big National Mosque. We were there at the wrong time. You are not allowed to go inside while people are praying.
This Mosque is also pretty from outside.
Don't forget to wear long trousers and cover your shoulders.
