South Bohemia is the place to be, to see impressive castles.
In South Bohemia there are several old villages/cities with an historical citycentre like Ceské Budejovice, Trebon and Jindrichuv Hradec.
But the most beautiful of all (and also on the UNESCO-list) is by far Ceský Krumlov.
There are spectacular places of interest of you leave the beaten path.
Just outside Krumlov is mount Klet from which you can see the entire surrounding and if the wheater is clear even the Austrian Alps.
Near Vyssi Brod you find Certova stena (Devil's face). An impressive wall of basalt boulders.
- Pros:beautiful culture and nature
- Cons:very bad roads
- In a nutshell:Relaxing place after a day of exploring South Bohemia
