For those freaks who, like me, secretly sniff their teabags in some unattended moment : go to Twinings ! It's heaven ! You'll find hundreds, no thousands, no millions ... of tea varieties, tea pots, tea cups, biscuits, chocolates, cakes, gifts, ... . Besides, in this very narrow but dazingly aromatic shop you can smell anything you want. In public. As I said, it's heaven !

As mentioned in all the travel guides, indeed, the Tower of London is really worthwile a visit. Quite expensive when you are to buy your ticket (16 euro or +/- 32 US dollar ), but at the end of the day you will certainly admit that the amount of money was well spent. This former prison will tell you everything about British history. Tip : Try to start your visit as early as possible. You will definitely need a couple of hours and it can get quite crowdy in the afternoon.

Whoever says that museums are boring should go and visit the Science Museum in London and hold his breath forever. One can spend several days in this magnificent and interesting place. Some of my personal highlights : the science and art of medicine (floor 5), glimpses of medical history (floor 4), health matters, photography and cinematography, flight (floor 3), computing : a history of digitopolis (floor 2), who am I ? (floor 1) and the contemporary exhibitions. But there is so much more : an imax cinema, some hands-on galleries and galleries about shipping, space, optics, weather, telecommunications, etc etc. You need not be a rich Einstein to enjoy this museum : it is free (except for the cinema, simulators and special exhibitions) and all of the information is well explained and illustrated.

Neal's Yard is situated near Covent Garden, but is a bit hidden from the shops. It is a small square with a lot of colourful houses, spiritual shops and multicultural restaurants. The different flags, small tables and beautiful trees turn this square into a cosy terrace and meeting place for all kinds of people. The food is fresh, original and yummy and above all not expensive. Ideal place to relax and experience a sunny holiday feeling.
