I booked this weekend break with my boyfriend after finding very cheap flights and hotel as a spur of the moment thing. The architecture greatly intrigued me and of course the fact the Sound of Music the greatest musical EVER was filmed there, could it get much better than this?? My partner having never seen the film before was dubious about it but after seeing the film just days before travelling he was almost as excited as me....
But Salzburg is so much more than just Sound of Music, the history and architecture for one made this a very special place |
