This is a beautiful beach on Ko Pha-Ngan called Hat Salad. Only 45 mins boat ride from Ko Samui my friend and I happened upon this place purely by chance.
Fresh off the boat from Ko Samui we jumped in a cab and asked the guy to take us to a beautiful secluded beach. 15 minutes drive later we ended up here at Hat Salad. |
|  | Secluded When we got here around midday the beach was totally empty and although only a small beach we had the whole thing to ourselves apart from a lone Golden Labrador paddling in the water.
There is a small cafe/restaurant on the beach which again was empty and there's a small hotel set back from the beach too with some beach huts hidden by the palms but hardly a soul to be seen. |
| | Shipwrecked The water is very shallow as the beach is set in a kind of bay with coconut palm jungle flanking each side so unless you go very far out you can't swim here and the further you go the more rocky it becomes under foot.
This was a truely magical place with only the sound of the insects in the jungle for company I would truely recommend coming here!! |
