"Basaic Luck Page" Luck by Basaic

Luck was originally two towns, one near the lake and another to the west that was founded by Danish settlers in 1869. The two towns wanted to combine but there was a disagreement about what would constitute the town center. That was settled by the railroad and the western town became the town center. There is a nice library here and a small museum that has displays about the history of the town and the area. Current population of the town is about 1200.

Luck has a small but proud historic district that has a few buildings of historic and/or architectural interest.
