Paradise Inn: Stay in Historic Paradise Paradise Inn Review

Paradise Inn is located in the Paradise Complex in the southern part of the park. The Paradise Inn has 126 rooms but is only open in the summer between May and early October. It is a very pretty inn with beautiful views. There is a place here to buy groceries and a restaurant or snack bar is onsite. There are a few trailheads here too. Accessible rooms are available. Prices are $100 to $200. I did not stay here just letting you know what is available.

National Park Inn: Accommodations in the Park National Park Inn Review

The National Park Inn is located in the Longmire Complex in the southwestern part of the park. The National Park Inn has 25 rooms and is open year round. At one point, the current building was an annex for the main motel which was built in 1906. When the main building burnt down in 1926, this building became the "National Park Inn". It is designed using a rustic style common to national parks in the west. There is a place here to buy groceries and a restaurant or snack bar is onsite. The Longmire museum and a few trailheads are part of the complex. Accessible rooms are available. Additional accommodations are available in nearby small towns. The nearest larger town is Enumclaw (population about 11,000). Tacoma is less than 100 miles away.

Cougar Rock Campground: Camp Near the Beautiful Mountain Cougar Rock Campground Review

There are 5 main camping areas and one that is walk-in only in Mount Rainier National Park. Cougar Rock Campground (southwest corner of park) and Ohanapecosh Campgrounds (southeast corner of park) each have about 200 sites. There are a total of almost 600 campsites in the park. Cougar Rock, Ohanapecosh, and Sunshine Point Campgrounds have accessible sites. There are also private campgrounds located just outside the park. Reservations can be made at www.nps.gov/mora/recreation/camping.htm.
