"Basaic Emery Page" Emery by Basaic

The Emery Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was built in 1898 using a unique construction technique for these churches; a wooden frame sheathed in clapboard. You can see the Greek Revival style of architecture in many of the details. This is the oldest religious building in the county and is worth a quick stop to enjoy. The church served the community until 1956 when it was replaced by a multi-purpose chapel.
