"Basaic Waynesburg Page" Waynesburg by Basaic

Waynesburg is a small town with just over 4000 residents, and is the county seat of Greene County. The town has a nice college with lots of old buildings and a long history. There is a lot of coal and natural gas here, which is a driving force in the economy. Greene County was named for Revolutionary War General Nathanael Greene.

The Waynesburg Historic District, along with a couple of buildings outside the district are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
