Cuyahoga Valley National Park is surrounded by some of the most modern and densely populated areas of the state; like Cleveland and Akron; but it still looks like it did in the early days of ite settlement. The park celebrates the culture and history of the area and maintains a lot of its physical beauty. One of the nice historical areas is the Hale House.

In the Things To Do Tips, I will cover the visitors centers, a few general attractions, then mention attractions moving North to South.

To get to Brandywine Falls you must exit the main parts of the park and reenter it by a small back road. The view is worth the trip.

If you are visiting at the right time there will be a lot of wildlife for you to see. I was late in the season but still got to see some wildlife including this beautiful Great Blue Heron.
