Cimarron Canyon

Natural beauty abounds in New Mexico and Cimarron Canyon certainly qualifies. Cimarron Canyon is located at the boundary of the Great Plains and the Rocky Mountains and is the easternmost part of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Cimarron Canyon State Park is on the "Enchanted Circle Scenic Byway" and is about 3 miles east of the town of Eagle Nest. The park offers equestrian and hiking trails, bird watching, fly fishing, and more. There are fishing guides available if you so choose.
