Kimball and Kimball County

Kimball is a fairly small town of about 2500. It is located in the Southwest corner of the horn of Nebraska, near the borders with Wyoming and Colorado. The highest point in Nebraska (Panorama Point at 5424 feet) is nearby. Kimball is the county seat of Kimball County.

Kimball Historic District

Kimball has a nice little historic district with a few buildings of historic and/or architectural interest.

Plains Historical Museum

Kimball is host to the very nice Plains Historical Museum. The museum is located in the old Fraternal Hall (which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places) and houses displays about the history of the town, the county and the plains region of Nebraska.
