Rock Creek Station

Rock Creek Station was first established in 1858 to sell supplies and as a resting area for travelers along the Oregon-California Trail. Later it was a relay station for the Pony Express and stagecoach stop for the Overland stage. There are 1600 feet of wagon ruts nearby. Rock Creek Station was frequented by a variety of colorful characters and has an interesting history. It is located in Southern Nebraska near Kansas.

West Ranch

There are remains of an old ranch on site too.

The Toll Bridge

This was the only place to cross Rock Creek for miles so it was a natural choice for a Toll Bridge.
