"Basaic Eden Page" Eden by Basaic

Eden is a tiny town in Southern Idaho located in Jerome County. It has a population of 405 as of the 2010 census. I stopped here to get directions to the Minidoka National Historic Site which is near Eden but down a few backroads and hard to find. I thought this small city hall looked neat.

Historic District

There is a small but nice historic distrcit in Eden with a few buildings of historical and/or architectural interest. The locals are very proud of their historic district and their town.

Minidoka Internment Site

There really isn't much to the Minidoka National Historic Site. You can see the river where they got their water and the remains of a few of the buildings. Minidoka was an internment camp for Japanese Americans during World War 2. It really is pretty hard to find.
