Funston is a very friendly small town in Colquitt County, in Southwest Georgia. Funston has a population of about 500. Funston was founded in 1898 and was named for General William F. Funston. Pictured here is the city hall. Had a nice conversation with two of the locals.

Old Jail

This is the old jail. I guess they did not have too many people getting in trouble at the same time because the jail does not look like it could hold many people.

United Methodist Church

The United Methodist Church is the most interesting building in town from an historical and architectural standpoint. The church was built in 1905.
