The Eden Store

Eden was established by Mormon settlers in the 1880s. It was mainly an agricultural town, and was named after a town in Utah. The post office was established in 1882. Abandoned buildings include the Eden Store. Although it is listed as a ghost town, there are several houses and trailers in the area so there are currently residents.

Pretty Scenery

Eden is located on Eden Road just off US Highway 70 which is called the Old West Highway. The distant mountains make for some pretty scenery.

The Cemetary

Just like its fellow town of Paradise, the Eden Cemetery is getting full. This is because of outsiders wanting to be buried here. It is a combination of just wanting to be buried in a place called Eden and the fact that getting buried here is cheaper than anywhere else in the area.
