Drexel Heights
Drexel Heights is a Census-Designated Place, an unicorporated town on the Southwest side of Tucson. It is South of Interstate 10 and West of Interstate 19. Drexel Heights has a population of about 25,000. The town was named for Francis Anthony Drexel, the father of Saint Katharine Drexel (who established missions to Blacks and Native Americans throughout the United States). Drexel owned property in the area during the late 19th century.
