Dadeville is a pleasant little town along US Highway 280. It is the county seat of Tallapoosa County and has a population of over 3000. It is also on Alabama Highway 49 which leads to the Horseshoe Bend National Military Park.

Dadeville also has an historic district that surrounds the court house square. Although Dadeville did not appear to have anything to make it a tourist destination, it is worth a stop if you are driving through the area.
