Hooters
Hooters is best known for their wings and the cute women running around in bright orange short shorts and Hooters T-Shirts. The food is usually pretty good, the selection of beers fine, and the women quite attractive. Decor tends to center around a bar atmosphere and sports. The women were quite cute and friendly.
Favorite Dish: I had fried butterfly shrimp with Cajun sauce. It was good, I just wish not everything was fried.

Radley's Fountain Grille
I wanted to eat here because of the name. One of the most interesting characters in "To Kill a Mockingbird" was "Boo" Radley. Radley's serves chicken, steak, ribs and pasta but most come here for the seafood. They also have cheesecake and key lime pie for dessert. Hours are 11 AM to 9 PM Monday to Saturday. They recently started to open on Sunday but I am not sure of the hours.

Bomini Bob's
This is not the place to go if you are on a real tight budget; but if you can spend a little extra the seafood is quite good. The name came from a small group of islands in the Bahamas occupied by people known for their hospitality, love of music, and joy of life. The decor invokes the islands and there was a nice deck in the back with a beautiful view of Mobile Bay. They serve wine, beer, frozen daquiris and Pina Coladas. Hours are 11 AM to 9 PM Monday Thursday and 11 AM to 10 PM Friday through Sunday. They also have live music from 6 PM to 9 PM Friday and Saturday.
If you have plenty of money try the Compleat Angler Platter with fish, crawfish, oysters, shrimp, conch fritters and a stuffed crab for $22.
Favorite Dish: Compleat Angler Platter. Lots of food well prepared.

American Lunch Cafe
The American Lunch Cafe serves homemade southern food. That means very tasty food, lots of fried food and no caring about the cholesterol crisis. Outside, the building in concrete block painted white. Inside are bits of nostalgia (what we call Americana) and items reflecting the importance of God, country and family. They have a nice mural dedicated to those serving and having served in the military. The owners were very friendly. They do not serve dinner. Hours are 6 AM to 2 PM Tuesday through Sunday. They are closed on Monday.
Favorite Dish: I had a nice thick slab of country ham with mashed potatos, green beans and a big biscuit. Tasted great!

Hunan Restaurant
This restaurant had an interesting blend of architecture, and I liked the lion dogs by the doors. The inside had an Asian flavor. This is an all you can eat buffet but there are a limited number of choices. The food was pretty tasty and they appeared to bring out fresh items often. Good desert! The girl working the cash register was very cute; but young.
Favorite Dish: Good shrimp dish and Banana Pudding (not Chinese but good!!)

Tiger Pause
Tiger Pause is a coffehouse located in one of the buildings comprising the Tuskegee Historic District. They serve a wide variety of coffees, teas, smoothies, ice cream and light food. The food includes turkey chili, turkey sandwiches and home made soups. Unlike some places they have heard about the ongoing cholesterol problem and the items they serve are low fat and low cholesterol. The peope working there were nice, too.
Favorite Dish: Try the sweet potato pecan bread pudding and some coffe or herbal tea.

China Pavilion
This place appears to specialize in food to go. Decor is minimal. The portions were very large but the food was only average.
Favorite Dish: I had the Garlic Chicken which was abundant with vegetables but more limited with the chicken.
