Loveland Feed and Grain - United States of America

Loveland Feed and Grain

Historic Loveland Feed and Grain in Colorado

The 115-year-old building is one of the most historic buildings in Loveland. It is one of the few remaining reminders of Loveland’s agricultural roots and is listed on the local register of historic places. National recognition is underway. There is a very active effort, by Novo Restoration, Inc., underway to save this building and restore it to its former glory.

National Sites in Alabama

Alabama has at least six national level sites to include: Horseshoe Bend National Military Park (About the war between the US and the Creek Indians/see my page); Little River Canyon National Preserve; Natchez Trace National Trail; Russell Cave National Monument; Tuskegee Airmen National Historical Park (About the Historic Tuskegee Airmen a part of Black History/see my Tuskegee Page); and Tuskegee Institue National Historic Park (About early education for Black Americans/see my Tuskegee Page). Alabama also has several National Wildlife Refuges (see my Bon Secour NWR Page) and National Forests.

For more information see my page for Alabama and the individual pages. I cannot make tips on the US Page for each site it would get even more difficult to navigate.

Alabama Cities and Towns

Alabama is known for its "Southern Hospitality". It has a small coastline on the Gulf of Mexico along with rivers, mountains, and lots of cities and towns.

The capital of Alabama is Montgomery. Montgomery has a population of over 200,000 and figured prominently in the civil rights movement. Other larger cities are Birmingham, Mobile (page coming soon) and Huntsville. There are also lots of nice smaller towns that will truly show you Alabama.

For more information see my Alabama and individual city/town pages.

Directions: Various locations in the state.

Alabama also has over 20 state parks featuring beaches, lakes, rivers, and mountains. The parks offer all types of water sports, hiking trails, campgrounds, and other facilities. So far I have only been to Chewacla State Park (Nice lake, hiking trails, waterborne recreation/see my page); Gulf State Park (a nice park on the Gulf of Mexico where you can go to the beach and fish); and Historic Blakeley SP (site of a Civil War Battle).

For more information see my Alabama and individual State Park Pages.

Wall of Art in Bisbee - United States of America

Wall of Art in Bisbee

Art in Bisbee, Arizona

Bisbee is a town full of artists of one type or another. While some towns, especially big cities, would have grafitti on all the walls, Bisbee has artwork everywhere. The town also has lots of art galleries and antique shops.

Naco, Mexico From Naco, Arizona

See Naco, Mexico

The main reason for coming to Naco, Arizona would be to cross the border into Naco, Mexico. Be aware, however, that there have been some problems with a minor drug war in Naco, Mexico so be careful.
