The cook islands... For me the most beautiful/relaxing destination in the world!!
For 2 weeks I stayed with my boyfriend on the islands of Rarotonga and Aitutaki. We had a great relaxing time here. After traveling for 4 months in Oz and NZ it was time to relax a bit. This really is a great place to chill out!
We rented a scooter to travel around the islands. On Rarotonga is a bus going but it's better to travel by scooter. I'ts impossible to get lost because there's only 1 main road on the island.
On Aitutaki there's no bus going. So if you want to get around the island it's the best way by scooter. For about 15$ a day you'll rent one.
Important is that you'll neet to get your drivers license if you only have one for a car. You'll go to the local police office and "buy" your dirvers license for about 10$. The officer wil drive a short round with you and afther if you did well you'll get your drivers license. (if there nog buisy with lunch or something becouse than you'll just have to wait for a while)
