All around Ruciane there is a forest "Puszcza Piska" which is a sort of a primaveral forest, with few villages, and kilometers of paths where you will only find foxes, deers, mosquitos, but no people (sometimes that's what you're looking for to relax). The most unforgettable view I will remember was late evening at the lake, watching fires at the other shore, where people have arrived by yachts and were spending the night in the forest... I'd love to do that one day.
