Beware of monkey-snatchers

On your way to the paddle boat terminal for the Underground River tour, you will pass by lines of trees. A jungle with monkey trail, so to speak. AS you feel the nature surrounds you, suddenly someone snatches your plastic bag of foods. Yes, they will really grab your food. But don't worry, they won't hurt you. They've just gottem so tired of foods in the jungles. City food is now their favorites.

Beware of falling coconut fruits

Beach is so accommodating, wind is blowing, trees are swaying you to oblivion... then a coconut fruit or "buko" brings you back to a dangerous reality as it falls from the high tree straight to your path (or even at you). Dont worry though, this can happen anywhere. Overriped fruits are really supposed to fall. It 's part of God's design.

Motion sickness on the way to Underground River

I was really excited for the Underground River tour. The guide picked us up at around 6:30 am. On the way to Sabang wharf where paddle boats will take us to the entrance of the cave, it took us at least 2 hours land trip. And mind you, it is not an ordinary land trip - it is a long and winding road. The zigzag road reminds me of Baguio, and maybe even worst. I went to Baguio like 2 weeks before and I didn't feel any motion sickness (or maybe just a little). But for this trip, I rummaged through my bag to find my anti-vertigo medicine. Not for the weak body :(
