Work, and play along the equator

by HasTowelWillTravel - last update: Sep 7, 2009

Good Times in Ecuador

I spent time in Ecuador working for the Global Institute for BioExploration, doing a training session related to bioassays and botanical therapeutics. We worked in the Maquipucuna reserve northwest of Quito, a beautiful area with both primary and secondary cloud forest present. After the trip, we spent some time exploring Otavalo and Cotopaxi National Park. A short trip, but wonderful and eventful.
