My wife and I traveled to Hopkins to kick off our Belizean honeymoon. We opted to stay with luxury, as a gift from my aunt allowed us to visit one of the resorts, but since we are not resort-priced people, we also investigated much of the village for other deals. It was a terrific place to visit, as it is tucked a bit out of the way, and definitely off the beaten backpacker track of Dangriga, the Cayes, or Punta Gorda.
