Pacha Ibiza - Greatest Club Ever! Pacha, which opened in 1973 has undergone several rebuildings and enlargements and is one of (if not the) island's most famous and modern nightclubs.
Its location is near the harbor in Ibiza Town. Pacha is the only major Ibiza nightclub which doesn't close its doors during the winter season. The club's capacity is 3.500 guests.
Although Paul Oakenfold was resident DJ there for several years, Angel Linde is now resident. However, the Ibizan club is best known for nights such as "Pure Pacha" hosted by "Superstar" DJ's such as Pete Tong, every night during the summer months.
The club was also featured in the 2004 movie It's All Gone Pete Tong. Musically, 'Pacha' is best known for house music but has five different rooms incorporating other musical styles.
DJ Steve Lawler comments about Pacha in an interview with Ministry of Sound in 2006 that, "Pacha’s a great club with an amazing sound system and by far the best dancers / performers in the world" | | |
| | South Africa Trip South Africa Rocked!
2 nights in Cape Town We stayed at The Portswood, which is right on the V&A Waterfront, we were due to go up table mountain, but due to bad weather we ended up visiting the Langa Township, and driving round to Simons Town and visiting the Penguins at Boudlers Beach.
1 night at Le Franschoek On the way from Capetown we stopped at the Waterford Estate for Wine & Chocolate Tasting, we visited Spier in Stellenbosch, and saw the Cheatahs, we had a Harley Davidson Transfer booked to take us to Le Franschoek (but due to bad weather, we were only on the bkies for abour 20 mins).
1 night at Grootbos Nature Reserve Who decieded we'd go whale watching? The sea was so rough that a few people (including me) were a teeny bit sea-sick. Grootbos was amazing, see my review for details!
1 night at Michelangelo Hotel in Johannesburg! We went to Moyo's in JNB for dinner, had our faces painted, and did a bit of boom-whacking, and ended up at the Palms nightclub, the next day we had a coach tour of JNB and we visited the Rosebank Market, before flying back to LGW
It was such an amazing trip! I wanna go back!

Wisbech I can't help being passionate about Wisbech, I was born there nearly 30 years ago.
The Town gets a good slagging off now and again mostly from the locals , but (since leaving) I've grown to appricate all things Wisbech, like Excetera, the architecture down the North Brink, the Rose Fair, and most of all the shops in the Horsefair.
Although i still cringe at the sight of "The Mart", I can remember a time, when it was cheap night was the greatest thing to hit the Queens School.
The Rose Fair really is the highlight of the summer for Wisbech, hundered of busses bring hundereds more tourists to the town, for flower displays, cream teas, concerts, church services, but the bit that everyone remembers is the procession through town of 30+ floats, theamed every year, local businesses, schools and groups take part, along with the one lucky girl chosen as Rose Queen & the Rose Fair Commettee, usually including the Mayor!
My favorite place has to be Weathersoons, not during the evening as it can get quite busy, but during the day its a nice place to get a quick drink and have a quality meal, normally go once a month with family/friends.
Next time you are in Wisbech, take a walk around St Peters Church, taking in the sensory garden, Wisbech & Fenland Musuem & the church, all are free!

| | About Me Well, i'm a travel agent, working in a call centre in Peterborough, i've been in the flights department since January 2000, and i like to think i know what i'm talking about!
I live alone in my small flat (unless you count my hamster - fatty or the huge spider living in my bathroom - harry).
I love to travel, watch movies, listen to music, reading, & spending time with family / freinds.
I have a weird fear of Baked Beans, I really don't like heights, or "feeling out of control"
