Limasol is one of the main ports in Cyprus. Its a large sprawling place with big hotels behind the coast - not my ideal holiday place but its a handy departure point for a 3 day mini cruises to Egypt and Israel.
Just outside Limasol there is wonderful scenery along the coastline and interesting archaelogical sights to explore - much more worthwhile in my opinion than Limasol itself. Paphos is less than an hour away and is a much more picturesque place to stay. |
