We visited Rovinj for 10 days in early summer 1987 and stayed at the Hotel Katerina on the tiny Island of the same name. It was an idyllic retreat even though it does require a short boat transfer to the town to go anywhere. The pic shown here is a postcard - I can't take credit for this one.
