A lovely hike along the beautiful lake Hintersteinersee, above it and across the woods above
which often clear to give great views over the lake.

The hike above the lake takes you onto the Wilder Kaiser Steig - part of a long distance path. This place is virtiually all off the beaten path so i have placed the tips there. Hope you enjoy the virtual hike - would love to hear your comments :-)

Wow, great hiking that you did in Austria and wonderful scenery and photos too! My wife and I enjoyed hiking in Austria too, wonderful country!

Wow, what a lovely hike - ahhh, I cannot get enough of those rcich green meadows - sometimes I wish to be a cow, eating there all day :-) Gorgeous pics of your hike :-)) I will do it one day :-)

No reflection photo perhaps but the chunky goulash soup makes it worth all the work. And no cable cars either? I'm impressed.
