Bolton Bridge Travel Guide: 16 reviews and 55 photos

The Bolton Abbey estate streches over 10km along the River Wharfe, and is the southermost section of the Yorkshire Dales National Park - not far from Skipton but this seemed the closest page destination on VT for Bolton Abbey - it is just down the road from Bolton Bridge.

Going this weekend! Which would you say is the most convenient carpark (we'll be in the motorhome?) There's a similar money tree on the walk up Aira Force in the Lakes.

Bolton Abbey Estate is a lovely place to walk. I could feel the energy even from your naratives. Lovely presentation. Regards.

Wonderful page Sandy! I really like the multiple-pics per tips :-) The Abbey Ruin looks beautiful and the purple glow of the heather on the hills is breathtaking!! Wish I could see that with my own eyes :-))
