Hilbre is the largest of 4 islands off West Kirby and the sunsets over here and the Dee estuary are amazing.
When the tide is out it is possible to walk over to the islands from West Kirby - check the tide times though!!

Good old Hilbre - stayed here on Conservation holiday once - also read about history and Monks stayed there etc - interesting place - ps - Saw lots of Grey Seals and could here them calling at night
