This victorian seaside town with its two bays is a very popular resort on the North Wales coast.

The Great Orme

Llandudno's mountain - not very big but has a scenic coastal path.
There is a tramway and a cable-car up to the Great Orme but its not a difficult walk up and the views are wonderful and easier to appreciate this way.

Brilliant Sandy, enjoyed reading about a place I used to visit as a kid. Remember getting to the top of Great Orme and my mum was terrified and wanted the air/sea rescue helicopter to come and 'save' her!!! :-) but now that would be me!!!! Thanks Sandy

You can stay the night in the lighthouse - it is a lovely B & B. It was featured in 'two fat ladies' when they did a feature in Llandudno.

Phhhewww, great page with brilliant photos. I was in Llandudno a few years ago and I really liked it, even though many pensioners seem to spend their holidays there ... :-)

Sandy, you have surpassed even your own high standards. This is a truly beautiful page, brilliantly presented. Some of my happiest childhood holidays were spent in Llnadudno.
