I recently went to York for an interview, that didn't turn out so well but I did enjoy a short stroll around here for a couple of hours afterwards and had afternoon tea at Betty's...that apparently THE place to eat.
My pics were rubbish so I guess i'll have to go back another time for that...

Each time I've visited York I've found new places and buildings to to enjoy and admire...thats the kind of place York is for me

Well in May 2003 I was able to return, this time with digital camera in hand and plenty of VT company :-)).

Pros and Cons

Pros:Historic city, plenty to see
Cons:Always bustling with people
In a nutshell:Something new to discover on each visit.

Great page Sandy, hahaha, and I love the travelogue! Great way to dress up for a VT picture :-)))) I've been to York once and only for an hour or two, but I loved it right away! I hope I get the chance to go back some day!
