Just a short visit to Tenerife in the Canaries for a relaxing holiday. Tenerife is the biggest and highest island of the archipelago with the imposing mount Teide that rises over 3,000 meters within the impressive crater of Las Cañadas.
We stayed in Puerto de la Cruz, in north Tenerife - greener and less touristic than the south of the island but took a few trips out to some of Tenerife's attractions.

I totally agree Puerto de la Cruz is the most authentic city on the island. I had agreat chistmas trip over there a couple of years ago: also nice in December :-)
Lots of stories surround the Dragon Tree - but it is a nice place to relax
Wonderful pics and tips - I've never been on Tenerife, as I thought it might be a bit too much touristic. But you convinced me :-)
The pic of Cinchado in front of the Teide is a classic one. Nice page, do visit the mountain next time, it's great!
