Italy has so many different areas that I love - the Dolomites (mountains always come first with me) Lake Maggiore, Sorrento, Rome and Venice. Tuscany is my latest discovery and has so much variety - lovely rolling countyside and mountains(in the north) hilltop towns with poppies in the forefront, lovely cities like Florence, Pisa, Lucca, San Gimmi. and Sienna. Also let us not forget all that real italian pasta and Chianti to taste.

I first came to Tuscany in May 2000 and was back again in September for another 2 weeks. In 2003 Rome, Abruzzo National Park and Scala just abouve the Amalfi coast will be visited - so watch for for those pages later in the year!
