Haha - I saw Simone do this on her page and I thought what a good idea! So when we visited Pompei on our italian holiday June 2003 I couldn't resisit imitating this pose ;-)

Pompei the city that was destroyed by the erruption of the volcano Vesuvius in A.D. 79 is a must see place in the Bay of Naples area.
Its hot and dusty, frustatingly impossible to see it all in one go ...but go you must and then go again.

We all get to know Pompei at school... great page. Howcome you managed to take pictures without hordes of people on it? Is it crowded?
