Yakapark: Yakapark

Close to Tlos is this trout farm and restaurant. Not only is the fish fresh and delicious the setting with waterways and fountains is cool and refreshing in the summer heat. There is even a bar with trout swimming in it!

Korsan: Korsan

Kalkan has probably the highest number of restaurants and bars per inhabitant or per square metre on the Turkish coast! so there is much to choose from and the ones we ate at are just the tip of the iceberg. Kalkan is a bit more upmarket so eating here we found was not as cheap as other Turkish resorts but the quality of food and location makes it a dining experience.

The Korsan Restaurant comes in three! The one situated on beach front, has the most amazing setting and views. The menu offers a wide selection of mouth-watering traditional Turkish cuisine, fresh fish and famous garlic bread baked to order. Above this is the Korsan Kebab - good for more informal meals and the next tier up is the Korsan Fish Restaurant - we just got to try the harbour front one before it closed in early October (the others remained open)

Favorite Dish: Free starters are usual in Kalkan restaurants - the one here was the best - village bread with dried apricots, cheese and the spicy salsa relish was delicious - we really didn't need our starters before our minted Lamb inside village bread - their speciality
