Seeing as Anglesey - a small island off the north wales coastline, but well connected by a bridge - is not in the VT database I'm using this page for sights of Anglesey. The Isle of Anglesey (Ynys Môn in Welsh) is situated off the north-west coast of Wales, near our favoured Snowdonia National Park. Its a lovely island and has many tourist attractions - mainly on a small scale, Recently circular walking routes and cylces routes have opened up which enable access to more remote areas.
Delightful coastal scenery all around the island - 100 miles of it.
At Beaumaris is one of the finest welsh castles that can be explored.
- Pros:coastal scenery and castles
- In a nutshell:lovely part of Wales worth exploring

Great part of the world. Don't know Anglesey so well, preferring the Lleyn peninsula.
Hope that you had a Merry Christmas (love the antlers(??!!))
Loool, here comes the next one who would love to visit the lighthouse :-) And the castle of course, looks splendid :-) Can anyone of the locals really pronounce that village name ? Incredible long hihi
Great little page about Gwynedd! It looks like a lovely place to visit. But most of all I would love to see that lighthouse!! Great and creative photos Sandy! And of course a page by you isn't complete without a great reflection photo :-)
And lighthouses too. I'm sure we'd love it there.
